Meet the Founder
Chanel Ford
Founder of Chickinscratch | Educator
Chanel Ford founded Chickinscratch with a simple belief: children deserve access to learning resources that help them practice important skills, build confidence, and continue making progress.
With a background in education and firsthand experience supporting students in the classroom, Chanel understands that every learner develops differently, and sometimes students simply need additional practice, a different approach, or the right resource at the right time.
That understanding helped shape Chickinscratch into more than a collection of worksheets. The goal is to build an educational platform where parents, teachers, homeschool families, tutors, and caregivers can find practical resources to support learners throughout their educational journey.
As founder, Chanel guides the overall mission, direction, and development of the Chickinscratch brand while collaborating with educators who contribute their knowledge and experience to the creation of educational resources.

Our resource-development process combines educational experience, thoughtful planning, and a focus on practical learning.
